West African Missions

Greetings from Nigeria, Cameroon, and Ellabell. Also, a very Happy Holiday Season to all who love the preaching of the Gospel of Christ in Washington. In this last report of 2009, I want you to know how much I appreciate you. You keep us going and will always have a place in the hearts of Christians in Cameroon, Nigeria, and Ellabell. Our missionaries will tell you in their reports of the great things done in West Africa because of your continued support. You are truly our partners in this effort.

You may have heard through our web site or emails that little Gabrielle has recovered and is home with her family to celebrate a Merry Christmas, or  Joyeu Noelle. The last time I wrote, Gabrielle was fighting for her life. Also in the other matter I have been asking you to pray; our Sister Lucille passed away on November 23. She was 91 and slipped quietly from this life to meet the Master. Thank you for your prayers for her. This was how Our Father answered them in His Wisdom. We are saddened by her loss but celebrate her victory over this life. Lucille was a gracious and formidable lady who was instrumental in encouraging the Ellabell congregation to begin this work. She and Tom formed a bond while he was here before he left for home in 2004. She also introduced us to the Mohsens in Paris and began our association with the Christians in Paris, France. When she left this earth, I received emails from all over the world.
