Hello Brethren and Friends of West African Missions. It is time to feel great about being a Christian. We have the best thing in the world!! …The GOSPEL OF CHRIST. I was given an opportunity to share this gift in Africa in 2004. West African Missions is the result of the Ellabell Church of Christ backing into this opportunity quite by accident and wholeheartedly, but clumsily at times because we didn’t know any better, raising the needed funds to take the greatest gift in the World to people eager to receive it. We never guessed it would turn out to be this successful.
I am Joe Holloway Jr., minister of the Ellabell Church of Christ in Ellabell, GA. I want to share with you the wonderful work in West Africa. You can easily help in this effort and then you will be a part of this work as well.
Just so you can attach a face to some of the names, this is a picture of Tom Ekpot Jr and I. Tom came to Ellabell in 2004 just before he graduated from Freed-Hardeman. Tom is the son of Tom Ekpot Sr. When I was a little boy in Arkansas, Tom Sr. became one of my heroes and one who was instrumental in my deciding to preach the Gospel. Tom Jr. is carrying on the work in Nigeria.

The work in Cameroon is very excting. Brother Abasiama John Archibong is the minister of the Mile One Church of Christ in Limbe, Cameroon. He is a fine young man. Both he and his wife, Lamikat (Sister Lami) have simply been a God Send to the work in Cameroon. Look at his most recent report by using the navigation links on the right.

This work is important to me. I imagine you have been able to see that if you have made it to the bottom of this page. You can easily help spread the Gospel in these two countries. Click Here to find out how easily. Or if you want, click on some of the menu items on the right side of this page and find out more.
While you are here, check out the Videos page. There are longer videos to download and some smaller ones to see instantly.
I made a PowerPoint presentation to extend your knowledge of the work in West Africa. Click on it and investigate even further. Or if you wish, you can Click Here to go directly to the download page. Once you begin your download, come back here and investigate the site further. The presentation is designed for congregations to use to consider this work but it can also be used for individuals to know more. It should last about as long as a Wednesday evening Bible Study.
New part of the site- You can find out from one of our donors independently of me or Ellabell about West African Missions. The Booker congregation in Texas has been with us for quite a while. There is a navigation bar to their part of the site above or click here.
You can also contact another of our supporting congregations, the Raytown Church of Christ in Raytown, MO. I was recently there and they gave their permission. One of their elders, Brother Wilson Goddard has agreed to discuss West African Missions with you. Click here
